	For as long as I can remember, I have claimed and believed myself to be a Christian. However, until 1985, when I began to read and research the Bible, I knew little to nothing about what was actually in the Bible. I could not explain exactly what I believed, because I did not know my own self! It was in 1985 that a rather unlikely man shared some of his knowledge of the Bible with me. He showed me more in three hours than anyone else had in the 28 years of my life! I knew nothing of the Bible, because though I was literate, I did not understand what I had read. Though I would not have admitted it, I believed the Bible to be a boring book full of " Thou shalt nots". That changed rather quickly as I was taught how to research the Bible and thus began to understand what is actually in it. *BELIEVE ME* it is everything *BUT* a " boring book full of thou shalt nots"! In fact I now regard the Bible as the *INSTRUCTION MANUAL* for life! If you are new to reading the Bible, click onto the above tab ARTICLES BY GARY JONES.
